Online threats are more rapid than ever

IBM will release the Internet Security Systems X-Force report that discusses the speed with which new exploits are released. Among the highlights:

- 94% of Web browser exploits are available within 24 hours after flaws are discovered. In 2007, that figure was 79%.

- 80% of PC vulnerabilities are exploited within 24 hours of their discovery, up from 70% in 2007.
